Credentials & Background

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, where I specialized in the intersection of evidence-based theoretical approaches and spirituality. Before that, I gained certification as a mindfulness meditation teacher in a two-year Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach taught program in association with Sounds True and Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center. Through that experience I investigated and practiced Buddhism which informs my clinical practice and relational approach to psychotherapy with my clients. I have been successful treating individuals and relationship partners facing issues around anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

During therapy, I integrated evidence-based theoretical approaches from a gestalt relational perspective. I also utilize EMDR Therapy (link to explanation), to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), to reprocess distressing memories to support living a better life in the present.

(Your why & intentions)

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

FOR LGBTQIA+ PARENTS

As an LGBTQIA+ parent, I’m passionate about working with queer parents xyz

(I do think this is an important distinction and qualification to point out at least here as kind of a short footnote since it is a niche that some people will be looking for ~ although it may not stay in this spot exactly)
